January 18th

Emerson is 4 months old now-how time flies! He is rolling from his back to front, he is smiling, and I got some laughs out of him yesterday! He is very interactive with our family and he can tell when he has been left in the living room by himself while we eat dinner. Although he likes his swing, he is starting to enjoy being on the floor and playing in the johnny jump-up. Levi thinks it's fun to swing Emerson in the johnny jump-up. I tell Levi he cannot swing Emerson in it because he could get hurt and then when Levi thinks I am not looking he gives Emerson a little push. No bruised faces or broken limbs yet. :) We have also put Emerson in Levi's room as of tonight and so far, so good. Levi wasn't so excited about the idea of having Emerson sleep in his room, but he will just have to get used to it. Anyway, we are all doing well here and enjoying the mild winter. John and I have both been running outside without much bundling going on.

Pushing my buttons!

Today Levi was throwing his ball around the living room. He started getting a little rough with throwing it and so I asked him to throw it a different direction. He kept saying "no" and a worn out me said, "are you just pushing my buttons?" Well, I had some buttons on my pants and Levi came over to me and took his little pointer finger and pushed on the buttons. :) Haha! All I could do was laugh.
