Update On Our Lives

Levi was six months old yesterday! He weighs about 16 lbs now and is continuing to grow and develop at a steady rate! He is now laughing out loud (before he would open his mouth really wide but no sound would come out). Levi has mastered sitting up and only falls over when he can't reach a certain toy that catches his eye. Every day he is getting better at his hand-eye coordination and we are so proud of all that
he has accomplished. It is a joy for us as parents to watch him grow up and learn so many new things!

John is going back to school! He is starting his masters in management today at Wayland Baptist University up here in Anchorage. He can do all of his schooling on-line so that makes finding a job a little easier. John is pursuing a job up on the north slope with one of the oil companies. Right now he is enrolled in a pipe fitting class that lasts for the next five weeks. He goes to the class from 8a.m. to 5p.m. so he won't be doing any substitute teaching for the next five weeks.

We were house-sitting for almost all of February and now we are living with John's parents once again, but soon maybe we will have a place of our own.

As for me, I still am staying home with Levi. We all three had the flu the end of last week and into the weekend so I am feeling a little worn out and it is only Monday! I really enjoy staying home with Levi though; he is such a good boy when he feels good.
