John, Jeff (my dad), and Pete (John's dad) took out this window and put in a sliding glass door in its place. 
The result is better access to the back yard via the dining room. My dad replaced our old 1968 window in our bedroom with this window.

How fun - not only do you have your own home but you're now changing it to make it the way you want it! It looks like your visit with your parents was a good one!
